This is my private room at West side stuidos hostel in NYC. Hostel was under construction. Not sound proof. Two bathroom for one floor. Never had to wait for the bathroom though. Great location, near subway stop, but in a residential area of NYC which gave the living in NYC feeling.

I have always been a little bit of a procrastinator with my blogs but this time I really do have a reason for taking so long to update my blog with diary post from my New York City trip.

When I return from NYC I was hit with shifts after shifts, over time after over time. About three weeks after being home from NYC, I got home from work one Saturday, mom tells me my grandmother has passed away. A week later I was in a death trap for the 7 hour car ride from Brantford back home to Montreal for her funeral.

I got back to Brantford from Montreal last Sunday, had Monday off and have been working like crazy since. Now I finally have a night and a day off I will update my post.

It's about an hour before Via rail train 97 is set arrive at Aldershot train Station to take me to New York City. So far the trip has gone off with a hitch. My driver arrive on time, the ride only cost me 70$, as appose to the 80$+ I was quoted. Cannot complain with that. With any luck the rest of the trip will too.

One down side of traveling is having to pack! Spent an hour ironing everything so it’ll pack easier.

1 month 3 days left to go…. Savings so far 845$ to be increase by 1100$ by the Friday before I leave.
